You arrange your own flights and hotel, then attend an in-person consultation where the physician confirms suitability and volume before the 30–45 minute procedure under local anaesthesia. Medical history

Photos are requested only if they are medically necessary, and only through the secure route the team specifies. Never send clinical photos through the website form.

The doctor gives a preliminary view on suitability. This is not final: volume is confirmed only at the in-person assessment.

Istanbul has two airports, Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). Transfers are not included.

In-person examination, baseline circumference measurement and a review of your history. Suitability and final volume are confirmed here and volume can be revised down.

About 30–45 minutes under local anaesthesia. No general anaesthesia or sedation.

The preliminary review at step 4 helps you decide whether travelling is worthwhile, but it cannot replace an examination. The physician may still advise against treatment at step 8, for example if expectations cannot be met or if the concern appears body-dysmorphic in character. It is sensible to plan your trip with that possibility in mind.

Payment is in cash, in euros, US dollars or pounds sterling. No deposit is required to agree a treatment date.
Because the final volume is confirmed only at the in-person consultation, and can be revised down, the package you actually pay for is settled at the clinic rather than at the enquiry stage. If you are unsure how much cash to bring, ask the coordination team before you travel.

Language and communication
Consultations for international patients are coordinated in English. Before travelling, contact is with the patient coordination team by WhatsApp on +90 530 322 90 26 or through the contact page. Hardrock Clinic is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulfu Sertkaya, a urologist and andrologist, and treatment planning is done with the operating physician.
If you would find it easier to discuss medical details in another language, raise this with the coordination team at the enquiry stage so they can tell you what is possible.

How long to stay
There is no single answer. The coordination team advises on timing based on the physician’s protocol, your chosen package and whether follow-up is planned. Flying and long-haul travel after treatment are covered by the physician’s personalised advice at discharge, so confirm your return date with the team before booking a flight you cannot change.
What the clinic protocol does say is that most men return to normal daily activities the same day, that swelling, tenderness and mild bruising are common in the first 24 hours, and that approximately 7–10 days of sexual abstinence is recommended. The recovery guide sets out the full timeline.

Discretion and privacy
The clinic does not publish penile before-and-after photographs. Clinical photography is shared privately, on request, during consultation. If photographs are medically needed before you travel, the team explains a secure route; the website form is not that route.
Because you book your own flights and accommodation, you decide what to share about your trip and with whom. Common questions
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. No deposit is required. Payment is made in cash in EUR, USD or GBP.
Does the clinic arrange hotels or airport transfers?
No. Flights, accommodation and transfers within Istanbul are not included, and patients arrange them themselves.
Can I be told my volume before I travel?
You can receive a preliminary view, but the final volume is confirmed at the in-person assessment and can be revised down.
What happens if I have a question after I get home?
You are given a direct contact number at discharge, and questions can be sent by WhatsApp. If you need care elsewhere, tell the treating doctor that you have had hyaluronic acid filler.
