Penile filler is the injection of hyaluronic acid gel into the loose subcutaneous layer of the penile shaft to increase its circumference. It is a non-surgical, temporary girth procedure performed under local anaesthesia in roughly 30 to 45 minutes.

Published studies of hyaluronic acid penile girth enhancement most often report a mean flaccid girth increase of around 2 to 2.5 cm, with individual results in one 324-patient audit ranging from 1.5 cm to 4 cm at a mean volume of 15 mL. Individual results vary according to baseline circumference, anatomy, filler distribution, treatment volume and physician assessment.

Many patients may retain visible enhancement for approximately 12–18 months, although duration varies considerably between individuals. A 324-patient audit reported a mean filler longevity of 12 months with a range of 9 to 24 months.

Hyaluronic acid is the most widely used and most reversible filler material for penile girth work, and published series report predominantly mild and manageable complications. It is not risk-free: swelling, bruising, nodules, asymmetry, migration and infection are all documented, and rare vascular complications are possible.

No. Penile filler increases circumference only. It does not lengthen the erect penis, because it adds volume outside the erectile bodies rather than altering their structure or suspension.

Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be broken down with an injection of hyaluronidase where this is medically appropriate. Reversibility is a genuine advantage of hyaluronic acid over permanent materials, but it is not absolute — sometimes more than one session is needed.
